BFC SEE is a unique program for improving the quality of services and information that municipalities in the SEE region offer to companies. This program provides municipalities with a clear roadmap for creating a favourable business environment and introducing internationally recognized standards of efficient and transparent local administration. BFC Certificate gives investors a guarantee that a certified municipality/city has a favourable business climate for investment. On the other hand, a certified municipality/city thus secures a position among the most advanced Local Administrations in South East Europe thereby providing a significant support of domestic and international institutions and donors.
MEG Project is the Municipal Environmental and Economic Governance project which is launched by the Government of Switzerland 2016. The project is part of the Swiss Cooperation Programme in BiH within the Local Governance and Municipal Service domain and is implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in BiH (UNDP BiH). The MEG project aims to improve municipal development management systems and services in the environmental and economic sectors. These improvements will result in better local services for the citizens, enhanced accountability and trust between local authorities, citizens and businesses. Special attention will be paid to improving living conditions of vulnerable groups.
Project “Local Integrated Development” (LID) will directly contribute to improvements in the standard of living for more than 100,000 people in BiH, working with domestic authorities to put into place mechanisms and resources needed to drive social and economic development. The Project is implemented in 21 partner cities and municipalities selected through a public and transparent process, prioritizing localities that are home to large returnee population and were affected by the May 2014 floods.
The project "Putevima EU" is funded from the "Europe for Citizens" program and in it the City of Doboj participates with partners from 4 countries from the environment (Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia). The project is being implemented in the period from July 2016 to November 2017. The aim of the project is to contribute to strengthening feelings of EU affiliation in the Balkan countries, raising awareness, information and knowledge about the EU and the rights of European citizens, and promoting intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and volunteering.
